Glen Canyon Dam, August 31, 2003
On
our way to Humphreys Peak, we drove North from Las Vegas, Nevada through
Southern Utah. After a short trip through Zion National Park, we crossed
into Arizona and stopped at the Glen Canyon Dam. The Glen Canyon Dam is
upstream on the Colorado River from Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam, just South of
the Utah Border. The Glen Canyon Dam forms Lake Powell. For more
information, check out the
Glen Canyon Dam web
page. Tours are available.
