Pictures

One of the most enjoyable things next to highpointing itself is looking back at the pictures from your highpointing trip.  The pictures on this web site are provided not only for enjoyment, but to provide a sort of road map for fellow highpointers and others to use when traveling from highpoint to highpoint.  Some of the photographs may not seem to have incredible aesthetic value, and they are not intended to.  Some photographs are included to show important intersections leading to the trailhead head, while others might show the particular path one takes while ascending the highpoint or a particular point of interest near the highpoint.

Whenever I go to a highpoint for the first time, I do a lot of background research in order to be adequately prepared for the climb, hike, or drive up.  Sometimes finding the right trailhead is more difficult than the climb.  I hope the pictorial documentation provides you with information you may find helpful on your highpointing trips.
