Hawkeye Point, Iowa
WCU, EEU, EKU, and I traveled to Hawkeye Point, Iowa on July 29, 2004. The weather was nice, but the smell on the farm, well, smelled like a farm. We spoke with owner Donna Sterler on the phone. She was very pleasant and welcomed us to the highpoint. It was easy to find.
Don't forget to sign the register and get your souvenir key chain. We gave a donation of $1.00 per chain. Remember this is private property, and we have access only through the generosity of the Sterler family.
