Black
Mountain -- October 25, 2003
On October 25,
2003, Bill Urbanski (WCU), Ed Urbanski (EEU), and I (SKU)
traveled to Black Mountain. We made sure to submit the waiver form before
we departed home. This is a coal mining region and can easily be coupled
with a visit to Mount Rogers, Virginia. I had been there before, EEU and
WCU had not. Both times I was at Black Mountain, the gate to the summit
was locked.
Here's the
pictures. Enjoy.
