Mount Mitchell, North Carolina Hiking Directions
Park your car in the parking lot. Follow the well marked, stepped path to the tower. There was a USGS marker in the base of the tower, but it was removed the last time I visited (October, 2003) and the last time EKU visited in summer of 2005.
