White Butte Photo Page

    EEU, EKU, WCU, and I traveled to White Butte, North Dakota after attending the 2004 convention in Washington.  The weather was beautiful, but it was a bit windy on the summit.  This was EKU's first non-drive-up highpoint.  We took a wrong turn on the approach to the trailhead and ended up driving our motor home through a field.  The hike starts out very flat, gets very steep, and then levels out again with one final pitch to the summit.  Here are some pictures.
