If you are climbing Mount Hood, there is really only one place to stay --- The Timberline Lodge. It is at the foot of the trailhead and its magnificence is overshadowed only by the grandeur of the mountain itself. The outdoor pool and Jacuzzi are seasonal (the season being year round,) there is a bar on the premises, there is an excellent restaurant, and the view of the mountain is unparalleled. With all of that said, I have to list some other places to stay, because the lodge does sell out frequently.
