Driving Directions to Mount Hood

   Directions from the Portland Area

    Take Exit 19 from Interstate 205.  Take US 26 East 49.5 miles.  Just East of Government Camp, Oregon, you will make a left turn onto the Mount Hood access road.  This road is paved to its terminus at the Timberline Lodge.  The Timberline Lodge is about 5 miles along the access road from US 26.

Directions from Hood River, Oregon

    Take Exit 64 from Interstate 84.  Take State Route 35 for approximately 39 miles South to the intersection of US 26.  Take US 26 West for 2.3 miles.  Make a right on the Mount Hood access road. This road is paved to its terminus at the Timberline Lodge.  The Timberline Lodge is about 5 miles along the access road from US 26.
