Jerimoth Hill, Rhode Island Pictures Home Page

Jerimoth Hill, Rhode Island, until the last four years, was considered the most inaccessible of all highpoints.  This was not due to its' height or remoteness.  At 812 feet and 750 feet on a wide path from a main highway, Jerimoth Hill is no physical challenge.  The difficulty in Jerimoth Hill lies in the access point which traverses private property.

In 1999, the highpointers club, after lengthy and arduous negotiations, struck a deal with the road front property owners to give the club access five days a year.  I have attended three of the open access days in the last two years.  All highpointers owe a great debt of gratitude to Dave Covill and Chuck Bickes for their efforts to open up Jerimoth Hill and to maintain the open dates they have achieved.

Here are some pictures from the dates which I have attended.
